Firoozeh Dumas was born in Abadan, Iran and moved to Southern
California with her family in the 1970s. She is the bestselling author of
Funny in Farsi: A Memoir of Growing Up Iranian in America. Firoozeh
excels at highlighting the values that connect us all, as well as the
hilarious details that make each of us unique. She will join us to share
her stories from Funny in Farsi as well as her newest book Laughing Without an Accent.
