Play by Tectonic Theater Project members: Moisés Kaufman, Leigh Fondakowski, Greg Pierotti, Andy Paris and Stephen Belber.
Tickets: $15 for Residents, $25 for Non-Residents
A decade after piecing together the docu-drama The Laramie Project, about people involved with and affected by the 1998 murder of gay
college student Matthew Shepard, the creators of the play returned to
Laramie, Wyoming, to write an epilogue. This evening will feature a
stage reading of the new epilogue by The Reston Community Players
as well as other activities that will explore this tragic event, its
aftermath, and the nature of hate.
Damian’s note: The Reston Community Center is one of over 100 different companies across the world who will present this new script on the 11th anniversary of Matthew Shepard’s death. I hope that you can join us for this historic and thought provoking evening. The night will include live broadcasts by Glenn Close and Judy Shepard from Lincoln Center as well as a talkback session
