Thanksgiving Food Drive
 
Reston Community Center joins the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce and Reston Interfaith once again to help families in need. Tough economic times make this community tradition more vital than ever
before to help your neighbors. Patrons, businesses, and organizations are
encouraged to drop off non-perishable food items from November 1–24 at
both the Reston Community Center Hunters Woods and Lake Anne
facilities, as well as a variety of other drop-off points throughout the
community. Organizations and businesses interested in participating as
drop-off points or collection sponsors can call Kevin Danaher, Community
Events Director, at 703-390-6166. Volunteers will gather at the RCC
Hunters Woods on Thanksgiving Day, November 25, from 10:00 a.m. to
noon to sort donations for delivery by Reston Interfaith throughout the
community.
