YouthYour Children Can Grow Up with RCC

Enroll your youngsters in educational and social programs for children, from infants to 12 year-olds. They’ll learn new things, develop good social skills and acquire the habits of health and fitness that will serve them for a lifetime. There’s so much to choose from, including classes in Art, Theatre, Music, Dance, First Aid, Fitness, Fencing, Photography, Swimming; to Sewing, Computer, Chess, and Cooking camps; to Kids Night Out - a program that offers parents a "breather" from child care while their children enjoy an evening of supervised play. In addition, RCC builds community among parents as well as children by inviting parent involvement through an array of parent/child programs, social and recreational programs for the whole family.

Classes have included:

  • Cooking Camp, teaching kids about kitchen safety, nutrition and how to prepare food
  • The American Red Cross Basic Aid Training (BAT) teaching emergency response skills, rescue breathing, ways to prevent choking, and more
  • Babysitting Skills, showing kids how to prevent accidents at home, First Aid and CPR, and community resources for emergency help
  • A wide variety of aquatics programs, ranging from introducing your baby to the water, to classes for young swim team swimmers who want to improve their skills
  • Kids’ FunZone, all-day Spring Break activities for kids, including swimming, field trips, games, arts and crafts, and more
  • Camp Goodtimes, a multi-week summer camp providing creative, enriching activities in a safe, supervised setting.
